What it is

The 'Pack 'N' Move' in our name is not decoration — packing and moving is the trade the group was founded on in Kuwait in 2003, years before the freight desks existed. PNM Egypt carries that trade in Cairo: a moving company for homes and offices that surveys, packs, moves, stores and reassembles, run by the same operation that documents containers for a living.

A move goes wrong in the packing, not on the road. Ours starts with a survey and an itemised inventory, then materials matched to the contents — double-wall cartons, bubble wrap, stretch film, blankets and corner protection — with fragile pieces wrapped individually and every box labelled by room. Wardrobes, beds and units are dismantled by our crew, moved as parts, and reassembled where the new floor plan says they belong, not left in a corridor.

Office relocation is a different discipline: the real cost of the move is measured in downtime, not boxes. We plan office and branch moves around your working hours — phased over evenings or a weekend where needed — with desks, files and equipment labelled against the new floor plan so teams sit down and work the next morning. For corporate relocation into or out of Egypt, the freight side of the house takes over: sea or air freight for household effects, cleared through Egyptian customs by the same team that clears commercial cargo daily.

Between two homes, during finishing works, or after downsizing an office, storage carries the gap: contents are inventoried in, stored packed, and inventoried out against the same list — short term or long term. And when the move crosses a border, you stay with one company: our own sea and air freight desks ship household effects worldwide, and the sister company that started it all, Pack 'N' Move Kuwait, stands at the far end of the Gulf lane.

Who it's for

  • Families moving house within Greater Cairo or between governorates.
  • Companies relocating offices and branches with as little downtime as the calendar allows.
  • Households and employees moving into or out of Egypt with effects that need freight and customs, not just trucks.

How it works with PNM Egypt

  1. 01

    Survey & quote

We see the contents — on site or by video — and return an itemised quote: crew, materials, transport, storage if needed. No surprises on moving day.

  2. 02

    Pack & inventory

Crews pack room by room while the inventory list builds with every box that closes — the same list that checks them back off at delivery.

  3. 03

    Dismantle & load

Furniture dismantled, protected and loaded in a planned order; access, parking and building rules arranged with both addresses before the truck arrives.

  4. 04

    Move & place

Boxes travel labelled and arrive at the room they belong to; furniture is reassembled and placed to the plan, not dropped at the door.

  5. 05

    Store or ship

Anything not making the trip goes to storage against the inventory — or into a sea or air freight file if the move continues abroad.

Why PNM Egypt

01

The founding trade

The group started as a moving company in Kuwait in 2003 and built its name on it — Egypt inherits the method, not just the logo.

02

Freight-grade paperwork

Itemised inventories, labelled boxes and a named file owner — the discipline we apply to containers, applied to your living room.

03

One company across the border

Moving crews, storage, international freight and customs clearance under one roof — the move doesn't change hands when it changes countries.

Frequently asked questions

How much does moving a home in Cairo cost?

There is no honest flat rate: the price moves with volume, floor and elevator access, distance, how much of the packing you want done, and whether storage enters the picture. That is why we quote after a survey — on site or over video — and itemise crew, materials and transport, so the number you sign is the number you pay.

Do you provide packing materials, and do you dismantle and reassemble furniture?

Yes to both. Cartons, bubble wrap, stretch film, blankets and corner protection come with the crew and are priced in the quote; wardrobes, beds and units are dismantled, moved as parts and reassembled at the destination. You can pack yourself to save cost — but what we did not pack, we cannot answer for the same way.

Can you relocate an office without stopping the business?

That is the point of planning one. We phase office moves over evenings or a weekend, label desks, files and equipment against the new floor plan, and sequence the trucks so departments come back online in order. The goal we plan against is simple: teams sit down and work the next morning.

Do you offer furniture storage in Cairo?

Yes — short and long term, as part of a move or on its own. Contents are inventoried in, stored packed and protected, and checked out against the same list. Between two homes, during finishing works, or after downsizing an office, that list is what keeps a stored household complete.

Can you ship household effects abroad?

Yes — this is where a moving company that is also a freight forwarder earns the double name. We pack and collect at your home, then ship by our own sea or air freight desks with the export paperwork done properly, and arrange the far end through the group's agent network — including Kuwait, where sister company Pack 'N' Move has moved households since 2003.

Do you clear personal effects through Egyptian customs?

Yes. Household and personal effects arriving with a returning family or a relocating employee still pass through Egyptian customs, with their own rules that depend on your status and paperwork. Our clearance team — the same one working the ports and Cairo airport on commercial cargo daily — prepares the file and attends the inspection.

Ready to move cargo?

Tell us the lane, the cargo and the timeline. Our team comes back with routing options, transit times and a clear, itemised rate.
